This is a short list of items that you should take when camping. Feel free to suggest more items and definitely take what makes you comfortable.

Camping Essentials Checklist

* Tent (poles, stakes, ground cloth, hammer)
* Sleeping Bag, blanket, pillow
* Sleeping pad
* Eating Utensils (spoon, knife, bowl, cup, plate)
* Personal Items (soap, tooth brush, paste, wash cloth, towel)
* Camp Stove and Fuel
* Cook Kit (pots, pans, spatula, large spoons, matches, plastic table cloth)
* Cleanup Kit (sponges, soap, scouring pad, various trash bags, plastic rinsing tub, paper towel roll)
* Cooler
* Bug repellant
* Sunscreen
* Camp chairs
* Charcoal and lighter fluid
* Clothing appropriate for the season
* Drinking water
* First Aid Kit
* Fire Wood or Ax to get your own if possible
